Different entry points, not a fixed path
I work from the premise that the psyche already knows things your conscious mind hasn't yet found words for. Much of what brings someone into this work isn't a problem to be solved so much as a story still finding its shape — carried in the body, in dream, in the patterns and images that keep returning until they're finally met.
My orientation is depth-oriented, rooted in Jungian and archetypal traditions — and also in conversation with them. Those traditions were built inside a particular view of the psyche, often a narrow and Western one, and I hold them alongside a wider frame. That means I don't work from the assumption that there's one myth, one map of the unconscious, or one version of "the human experience" that your story gets measured against. Your psyche carries your own lineage — your body, your ancestors, the particular world and history you come from — and that's the ground the work starts from, not something to be translated into someone else's framework first.
What I offer isn't a program or a set of techniques aimed at a fixed outcome. It's a space to be witnessed and accompanied while what's underneath finds its own way toward being known, at its own pace.
Integrative Therapy From my office in Pasadena.
Individuals often come to this work carrying things like:
A life that looks complete from the outside, but feels quietly incomplete from within
A sense that there's a deeper calling or creative work waiting to be lived, without a clear way in
Outgrowing roles, relationships, or a version of yourself that used to fit — without yet knowing what's next
Patterns or blocks that keep repeating even after real inner work has already been done
Moments of expanded awareness, spiritual opening, or synchronicity that haven't yet found a place to be metabolized
Wanting a depth of reflection and accompaniment that hasn't been available anywhere else
Mind and body are two channels through which the same current moves. What surfaces as a thought has usually already moved through the body first — as sensation, as tension, as breath — long before it finds its way into words.
Much of this work draws on psychodynamic and depth-oriented approaches — tending to the patterns and inherited stories that took root in your life long before you had any say in the matter, shaped by ground and seasons that came before you.
For someone who already knows a great deal about themselves, this isn't about finding more roots. It's about staying with the ones already there long enough for something to finally grow past where it's been holding.
